George Kovacevich HITCHCOCK, Texas — The community is honoring the life and legacy of George Kovacevich, affectionately known as Wes, who passed away peacefully from natural causes at the age of 81.
A proud war veteran, devoted father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, George lived a life defined by service, family, and passion. He was deeply admired for his strength of character, kindness, and unwavering devotion to those he loved.
Beyond his service and family life, Wes was known for his love of motorcycles and his enduring enthusiasm for baseball and football, passions he happily shared with his family and friends. These interests brought joy, laughter, and lasting memories to all who spent time with him.
Those who knew George remember him as a man of integrity and warmth, whose presence brought comfort and inspiration. His legacy will continue to live on through the many lives he touched.
The family is currently raising funds to honor George’s final wishes for funeral services and memorial arrangements and expresses heartfelt gratitude for the support and kindness shown during this difficult time.
