Witnesses say the incident occurred near the 1400 block of Nicollet Avenue, and emergency responders were called to the scene where they located the injured victim. Reports indicate the man was transported to Hennepin County Medical Center (HCMC), where paramedics were assisting with his care. Several bystanders told officers that the shooting involved a male and a female who were firing at one another before the victim was struck.
